They say March comes in like a lion, and that is certainly true here at Teresa DeLeen. It's very busy here in the studio! We have lots of new orders to fill thanks to a great presence at the San Francisco Gift Show. It's so exciting to look up these great new stores and peek in their windows online. I was thrilled to go to the show, and while I was there I visited some stores my prettties are already dangling in!
Can you imagine getting through airport security with ten lines of almost entirely metal jewelry that included over 3,000 pins? But I didn't want to let any of it out of my sight so that's what I did! I can't imagine what TSA thought about the acrylic display pieces and 2x4's that were in my checked luggage! But everything arrived safely in San Francisco.
Once I had everything displayed even I was surprised how much I had managed to haul down from Seattle. The newest line, Elementals, stood front and center, while my Vintage Typewriter Key line looked over. My Orchids of course, a centerpiece to an order that went all the way to a lovely shop deep in the ♥ of Texas last week!
Of course it wasn't all work and no play! We enjoyed the weather (see us squinting at the unfamiliar golden orb in the sky?) and fantastic foodie options the city has to offer. No visit would be complete without a stop(s!) at my favorite refueling station, Blue Bottle Coffee.
So, March came in like a LION. I have no worries of it going out like a lamb. . . Teresa DeLeen is growing, but I still make each and every piece of jewelry with my own two hands.
